About the Maker~

I am a Maker of whimsical art, songs, poems, an encourager of Noticing and Kindness, Mama of twin teen girls & many critters, and wife of fine dude.  

I love-and need- to "make" things: poems, songs, picture books, veggiegiggles, and who-knows-what-next. That is how I find wholeness and healing. This site was made to share them with you, because I believe that is why they were given to me-to put them in a place where you could find them.

Here are a couple of favorite veggiegiggle characters. Both of these tomatoes grew in my yard & just HAD to become a 'toon! They salute Chicago music and a Very Popular, Very Shiny, Very Cool & Awesome bean-shaped sculpture.

Need a personal hydrator? Super cool water bottle? These are designed with characters from my waterfolk.com site, where there is a blog @ worldwide water issues, and a picture book in progress featuring the Hydration Nation of Waterfolk characters. My family has been life-testing them for a year--they DO NOT LEAK--and still look so fine!

Here is something very useful--with a cool design & message.  It's part of a line of products based on the Waterfolk characters. It's a large & Very Sturdy bag--great for grocery shopping, or toting just about anything. I use mine a lot! 

Splat makes a beach bag or shopping bag FUN! It's Real Sturdy & has water-resistant lining--great for wet stuff. Strong enough to be a great book bag.
